Directions

From New York & New Jersey:

From your location within Manhattan, take the DiMaggio Highway (West Side Highway)/Henry Hudson Parkway North and follow the signs for I-95 North. If you are originating in New Jersey, follow the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95 North through the toll sections, past the New York Metropolitan area and into Connecticut. Proceed on I-95 North to I-91 North. Drive directly North on I-91 and get off at Exit 6 for "Rockingham, VT". At the end of the exit ramp, take a Left onto Rt. 103 North and drive 24 miles through the town of Ludlow to the intersection with Rt. 100 North. Turn Right on Rt. 100 North and proceed for 5 miles where you will see the entrance for Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort on your Right.
Approximate travel time: 5 hours from the New York Metropolitan Area.

From Long Island, Connecticut and Western Massachusetts:

From your location on Long Island or in southern Connecticut, proceed on I-95 North to I-91 North. Drive directly North on I-91 and get off at Exit 6 for "Rockingham, VT". At the end of the exit ramp, take a Left onto Rt. 103 North and drive 24 miles through the town of Ludlow to the intersection with Rt. 100 North. Turn Right on Rt. 100 North and proceed for 5 miles where you will see the entrance for Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort on your Right.
Approximate travel time: 5.5 hours from Long Island, 4 hours from Stamford, CT, 2.5 hours from Hartford, CT, and 2 hours from Springfield, MA.

Driving from Boston and Rhode Island:

From the Boston metropolitan area, proceed on I-93 North for approximately 60 miles toward Concord, NH. Just South of Concord take the "I-89 North" exit toward "Lebanon/White River Junction". Turn Right at the fork in the ramp and proceed on I-89 North for approximately 64 miles to Exit 1 in Vermont for "Rt. 4 West Woodstock/Rutland". At the end of the exit ramp, turn Left onto Rt. 4 West and drive for approximately 18 miles to the intersection with Route 100A in Bridgewater Corners (look for the Hawk sign). Turn Left and follow Rt. 100A for 7 miles. At end of Rt. 100A turn Left onto Route 100 South. Proceed for approximately 2 miles and you will see the entrance for Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort on your Left.
Approximate travel time: 3 hours from Boston and 4 hours from Providence, RI.

Driving from Philadelphia, Baltimore & Washington, D.C.:

From the DC metropolitan area, proceed Northbound on Rt. 295 and take the exit for "I-895/Harbor Tunnel Thruway". Get on I-895 North which turns into I-95 North. Travel North on I-95 for approximately 60 miles and take the I-295 exit toward "New Jersey Turnpike/Delaware Memorial Bridge/NJ-NY". Proceed straight on I-295 North for 5 miles and straight still onto Rt. 40 East, which will take you onto the New Jersey Turnpike. Drive North on the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95 for approximately 119 miles to the I-95 North exit on the Left toward "Bruckner Expressway/New England". Continue North on I-95 for 64.5 miles and take the I-91 North exit. Proceed Northbound on I-91 for approximately 147 miles to the exit for Rt. 5. Stay Left at the fork in the exit ramp and turn Left onto Rt. 5. Drive half a mile and turn Left onto Rt. 103, on which you will remain for 24 miles. Outside of the town of Ludlow, turn Right onto Rt. 100 North and drive 5 miles. You will see the entrance for Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort on your Right.
Approximate travel time: 8.5 hours from Washington D.C., 7.5 hours from Baltimore and 6 hours from Philadelphia.

Driving from Buffalo, Toronto & Points West:

From the Buffalo metropolitan area, proceed Eastbound on I-90 through New York state and take the "I-87 North/I-90 East" exit. Drive one mile and exit onto I-87 North. Proceed on I-87 North for 5.5 miles and exit onto Rt. 7 East. Remain on Rt. 7 East for approximately 30 miles, at which point the road turns into Rt. 9. Continue on Rt. 9 for about 4.5 miles and turn Left onto Rt. 7. In 2 miles, take the Rt. 7 North ramp toward "Manchester/Rutland" and drive North for 21 miles, exiting on the "Rt. 11/Rt. 30" ramp toward "Historic Rt. 7/Manchester Center/Manchester". At the end of the exit ramp, turn Right onto Rt. 11 and proceed for 13.5 miles and turn Left onto Rt. 100 North. (Note: To stay on Rt. 100, please remain aware of the street signage. You must turn Right at the intersection of Old Country Road, turn Right at the intersection of Rt. 155, and turn Left at the intersection of Rt. 103.) Follow Rt. 100 North for approximately 20 miles, and you will see the entrance for Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort on your Right.
Approximate travel time: 7 hours from Buffalo and 8 hours from Toronto.
